Clips from the Kleinfelds Blow Out Sale!

Kleinfeld's knows how to orchestrate a sale! Making brides wait on not one--but two lines, only added to the excitement. We got to the 11 am ticket line around nine and were kindly greeted by women of all ages. Each girl was willing to share her story. While some brides lived only a few moments away (like us) others traveled up to 15 hours in the hopes of getting the dress of her dreams (half off of course). We even had the pleasure of meeting a father of the bride as well as a groom. Those two were arguably our favorites- but we'll leave that up to you guys to decide.
Here is Kleinfeld Bridal Sale: Part 1.

Stay tuned for Part 2 where we go beyond the velvet rope.... coming soon

Home for the Holidays, Black Friday NJ!!

Since Claire and I were out of town for Thanksgiving we covered Black Friday separately. I was back home in New Jersey, so I had my old friend Brenda join me for the evening of 'festivities'. Although we had a great time running around Jersey together, I must admit that I did miss the New York crowd. While some of the people (as you will see in the video to follow) were great, many were disgruntled and grumpy! Here are highlights from our experiences from those who wanted to buy EVERYTHING, to those who would not consider sharing coupons-- oh and a trio of musicians who serenaded shoppers at The New Jersey Premium Outlets.

Happy Holidays!

Black Friday Florida Style

So my Claudia substitute and I ventured out to Walmart at 8:30 for the 10 pm Black Friday opening. After looking for a spot for a few minutes in the very crowded parking lot, we thought we'd have such a great time with our fellow shoppers on the world famous Black Friday Walmart line. We saw cop cars and crossing guards- yep crossing guards!!! I know I'm getting you all riled up because I was too.

Instead, we found the automatic doors wide open for the public to enter. Walmart opened their doors early!!!! They broke the cardinal rule of Black Friday. Who does that!!!!!????
The early opening happened to be good news for people with the intention of buying.  I probably should have tweeted it or something.....

After a few minutes of browsing and being more bored than expected, we decided to go to Best Buy to see if there's a crowd there.
Lo and Behold! There was a crowd!!!  A line of over 200 people!

My excitement was put to a stop when i started talking to the line-goers.  No one was friendly or cooperative.  They made rude comments and were on the line for shopping ONLY! Maybe it was the fact that I didn't have my partner in crime or maybe it was because Black Friday is a SERIOUS night  to most people or maybe because the Aventura crowd was just a bunch of bullies.  The people that brought chairs were the worst of all!

The video is a short video of the crowd and their rude ways....

I know you're all expecting a post covering black Friday and we know you're curious as to where we will be Wreaking Havoc. Claudia and I won't be together tonight. But don't feel too bad bout the news- You'll get more footage that way! WreakHavocNY never disappoints our fans.

I will be covering the Miami crowd at Walmart (where else?) and Claudia will be giving you the New Jersey experience at a very special surprise venue.

Stay tuned...

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Lady Gaga Workshop Opening Video!!

Shout out to our line friends John and Stephen!! And Anthony we love you too even though you're a kleptomaniac.

We loved wreaking havoc with you guys!

Enjoy!!

Gaga Land...Inside the Lady Gaga Workshop

As we walked out of the elevator on to the fifth floor, we were stunned and totally in awe of what Barneys did to  the place. Right in front of us was an over-sized, contortionist-like statue of Lady Gaga herself.

Everything was amazing!  It had felt like we were in the grown-up version of  FAO Shwartz with that Gaga edge we all love and adore.  There was everything from armadillo shoe shaped earrings, to massive cookies (for $95), to bow headbands made out of real hair!!  It was so crazy!

Speaking of craziness....
Tune in tomorrow afternoon for one great video!!  We met tons of characters on the crowded 3-hour line.  We know you will love and adore them just as much as we do.  It was arguably the best 3 hours we've had in a long time.

No Lady Gaga to be found upstairs- Its ok, we had her replica greeting us at the door.

Face Sized Cookies?? No way!

Do you like my bow better or her bow better?

Someone got arrested at the Lady Ga Ga workshop!

What a little monster!!!!!

We are on the very crowded line waiting to get into Barneys!
Rumors are spreading like wild fire about thievery and scandles inside the workshop.

Normally, we'd be jealous about this but to tell you the truth, our friends on this line are amazing!!!

Come join the party-wreak havoc on 60th street with Claire and Claudia!

P.S. Nicki Minaj is standing with us

Lady Gaga Workshop Opens Tonight!

Although we were planning to check out the Dylan's pop-up on 42nd street this evening, our attention has been refocused on something else: The Lady Gaga Workshop at Barneys!!!

Opening tonight at 11:59 pm, the 5th floor of the luxury department store will be completely transformed into all things Gaga. From the quick peak I was able to catch while riding down the escalator, the shop looks insanely cool! And the best part about this is that proceeds will be going to charity.

We love celebs supporting a good cause, so Gaga here we come!!!!

We hope to see all of you there!

:)

Leftovers from Versace for H&M

Arriving past 7 am to a sale at H&M- BIG  MISTAKE. We got to the Lexington store way past 2 pm, leaving us a only a small corner of leftover goods to go through. On the bright side, we got our hands some rather interesting items nobody paid attention to. Apparently Versace shoppers are not fans of bright florals embellished with fringe. Since the store was sooo calm, we decided to have some fun in the dressing rooms. We even made a friend!!!
So here is what we learned today: You snooze, you lose.

The very Versace window

To avoid any havoc, H&M assigned every shopper a time slot
Do the Versace dance
We made friends with a lady wearing a loud outfit
So I decided to copy her
Fringe Friends
Which leg wore it better? Right or Left?

We'd rather have leftovers from a Chinese Food Restaurant than Leftovers from Versace any day.

Salvatore Ferragamo Sample Sale Video is Here!!!!!

Enjoy :)

Ferragamo Sale Shut Down!!!!!!!

Our sale insider just reported that the fire department came and closed the Ferragamo sale down!! Nobody was even allowed to purchase anything.

Luckily we got out before all the commotion.

Supposedly shoppers violated store code.

See below:

The Line at the Ferragamo Sale

We arrived in Secaucus at 7:45 AM.   After sitting in a bit of Lincoln Tunnel traffic, and getting slightly lost due to a glitch in our navigation, we finally arrived at the Salvatore Ferragamo warehouse! We were far from the first people to get there.  We parked and jumped on line.  Luckily we got there when we did because not 5 minutes later tons of people began to show up.

By 8:45, there were hundreds awaiting the chance to score some sweet deals, and people were starting to get antsy.  There were those that were "meeting their place-holding friends" who all happened to be part of the first 50.  This did not go over well with the masses, and those upset felt no need to keep quiet.

By 10:15, we got through the doors leaving--we kid you not-- 1,000 people behind.

Here are a few photos we snapped to hold you over until this afternoon's video. :)

Whoa!

Does she really think she's getting passed security with that?                               This one speaks for itself

Tibi, is this really a sample sale??

As we headed over to the Tibi sale this morning, we expected some sort of a line. Yet when we approached the doors at 11 am, we were invited by quite a few welcoming faces, decked out in Tibi head to toe. While we were pleasantly surprised by their unusual composure, we were initially let down by the sparsity of the people. Where was everybody??

This gave us time to shop for ourselves. We rummaged through the boxes filled with all sorts of printed bikinis at $15 a pop. But hold on girls, don't run over to west 36th street just yet. This was the only real deal in the store. Just a few steps beyond those boxes were racks ranging from $125-$350. The prices were not even this high at YSL!! However, most of the merchandise was pretty much designed within the past two seasons. It is safe to call this one a sale, NOT a sample sale.

Here are some highlights from the day.

Lady Gaga Fragrance

Lady Gaga is coming out with her own fragrance.
Don't run to Sephora just yet! It's not due in stores till 2012. The fragrance will smell like "blood and semen" according to the license she signed last year... but I think that it's going to smell like raw meat.

This is as far as we got :(
Maybe next time Manolo.....

Hey Michelle Obama, Are You Coming to Macy's on February 15?

Dear Michelle,
Have you heard the news?  A few days after you wore that purple Doo-Ri gown to the state dinner, the designer announced her launch for Macy's.
So you were spotted at Target in your version of a disguise shopping for Missoni like the rest of America and we know you like Doo-Ri. So the only question we have for you is, ARE YOU EXCITED FOR DOO-RI/MACYS COLLABORATION!??
We can just picture you saying, "Oh Barack, look at those gorgeous sketches Wreak Havoc has on their site!"
So till then Mrs. President, hold him over with these....
