Much to our dismay, we made the ultimate mistake this morning at the Manolo Blahnik sample sale. We showed up at 845, thinking we were wayyyy early for the sale that would open to the commoners at noon. Our plan was to sneak into the VIP sale but we were quickly shot down. So we figured that at least we'd would be first in line for the Commoners turn to shop.
Well we were wrong...
Apparently Manolo Blahnik shoppers do not wait on line like cattle. They are assigned letters, giving each and every Manolo whore a time and group number to shop. And all those upper east side women must have attended many Manolo sales before, because they knew about this ticket system and began showing up to get their numbers at 6 am. This was a big mess-up and our unawareness threw us off. But we will still be heading in later to Wreak Havoc. Stay tuned...
